This sample shows some of Jackson's learning during term 3.  Our most recent focus has been 'fractions'.  

BASIC FACTS

Jackson's latest basic facts.  

If you come to 'pizza and problems' night with Jackson next week, I can show you how to support him at home with improving his speed and accuracy.

MATHS

Jackson enjoyed maths today.  He has shown me that he can add groups together by imaging, this includes adding and multiplication.  

We also worked on basic facts.  Jackson had a cheeky smile as he answered these questions.  He was very proud of himself and rightfully so.  

He knows groupings within 5, addition to 5 and subtraction to 5.  We are going to do some work on groupings with 5.
